A technician runs a wipe, the result looks borderline, and they walk down the hall to find the supervisor. Sticky note on the printout. Verbal “looks OK.” Margin scribble.
None of that survives scanning. None of it survives emailing. None of it lives on the PDF when a regulator asks for it eighteen months later.
LTI Capture has a built-in supervisor-review workflow for this exact moment.

For decades, LTI gamma counters have produced their authoritative records on attached dot-matrix printers. That worked for over 30 years. In 2026, ribbons are getting hard to find, the parallel-port printer market is shrinking, and the records that matter increasingly live in digital systems, not filing cabinets.
