Ago today, I rolled the dice and filed the paperwork for State of the Arc, with no real roadmap. Just ambition, long hours, and a willingness to figure it out as I went.
Over the last decade there’s been plenty of highs and lows. Long nights in the shop, equipment breaking at the worst times, jobs that tested me physically, mentally and emotionally, and moments where things felt uncertain almost weekly. But there’s also been growth, relationships built, opportunities I never imagined, and the satisfaction of watching ideas turn into real projects with my own two hands.
Running a business definitely isn’t easy. It takes sacrifice, risk, consistency, and a lot of faith during the times nobody sees behind the scenes. But through every challenge, one thing has stayed constant, the support from customers, friends, family, other businesses, and everyone who has shared, referred, hired, supported, or even simply encouraged me along the way.
I genuinely appreciate every single one of you that helped make these 10 years possible.
From small jobs in the beginning to the projects we’re building today… thank you for being part of the journey. Here’s to continuing to grow, improve, and build bigger & better things in the years ahead.
