ZTEX Construction Inc. ZTEX Construction, Inc. is a heavy civil contractor specializing in earthwork, asphalt paving, and overall project management. ZTEX Construction Inc.

was founded in 2006 by Richard "Dick" Ortiz. One of the first projects completed by ZTEX was the Outlet Shoppes of El Paso, also known as the Sun Valley Outlet Mall. This contract was more than $5M and ZTEX self-performed 90% of the work. What's more is ZTEX was the General Contractor for the civil construction portion of the project. Since then, ZTEX has been involved in many of the largest proje

cts in west Texas and southern New Mexico. ZTEX has been involved in nearly all of the largest projects in West Texas and Southern New Mexico, demonstrating that General contractors and project owners alike highly desire the specialized skills and services that ZTEX brings to a project. Owning its own equipment, possessing an intimate knowledge of the terrain and keen project planning removes the need for internally generated change-orders and allows ZTEX to consistently meet its project time-lines and objectives. The City of El Paso Parks and Recreation, in collaboration with Raising Cane’s, ZTEX, and the El Paso Community Foundation, invites you and your family to enjoy FREE outdoor movie nights all summer long!

These community-friendly movie events will take place across parks in all eight city districts, offering everyone a chance to gather under the stars for fun, connection, and entertainment.
