Are you familiar with the ThermoBlock ICF system - the ultimate solution for energy-efficient, durable, and cost-effective building? The ThermoBlock system uses a combination of interlocking, stackable polyurethane foam blocks, reinforcing steel rebar, concrete, and steel studs inserted in the wall as straighteners and stabilizers to make a concrete form system. The ThermoBlock polyurethane foam blocks are produced by a proprietary injection molding process. The blocks are 8”x 8”x 32”, and have 5 ½” cylindrical openings running vertically through the block, spaced at 8” on centers. The blocks interlock both horizontally and vertically to form a contiguous insulation system with no thermal bridges to allow transfer of heat and cold through the wall systems.

This is the true power and strength inside of ThermoBlock ICF. That's right, it's steel reinforced concrete post and beam construction. 💪💪. The patented 5 inch holes run vertical from block to block and connect into horizontal steel reinforced concrete bond beams. Each column or every other column is filled with steel reinforced concrete depending on overall structural requirements.

ThermoBlock® structures are hurricane rated and super insulating to a R-38. Tight fitting, interlocked blocks prevent air infiltration. Due to the medium density polyurethane foam block, these structures provide a high level of exterior sound dampening (STC 52).

Perfectly straight and square ThermoBlock ICF walls requiring no external bracing. During construction and nearly 15 later this is the same wall from two different angles. ThermoBlock® Polyurethane ICF is a remarkable high strength steel reinforced concrete, super-insulating next generation form.

ThermoBlock is extremely fast and efficient to install. Its lightweight form blocks are easy on the installers too. This entire project consisted of two 17,000 sq ft structures that were erected in 30 days.
