Our training team had a highly productive week at Fort Bliss, delivering two Airtronic Burner Maintenance Courses (ABMC) alongside a Train-the-Trainer program. This effort equips the Tactical Field Readiness Training Center with the knowledge and capability to train and sustain their own teams across the formation.

Key highlights from the week:
• 7 Train-the-Trainer instructors certified
• 20+ ABMC students trained
• 40+ Airtronic burners repaired
• Assault kitchen readiness ⬆️

Building capability. Increasing readiness. Supporting the mission.

Our military is our top priority. We are committed to delivering reliable, high-performance equipment that supports those who defend our nation.

Our Training Team has been hard at work this week, wrapping up the first of two Airtronic Burner Maintenance Courses at Fort Bliss. Students completed both classroom instruction and hands-on practical exercises, gaining a strong understanding of the theory of operation, basic troubleshooting procedures, and full disassembly and assembly of the Airtronic Burner.

These newly developed skills will directly enhance readiness across the Fort Bliss Division. In just two days—and with limited parts—students successfully troubleshot and repaired more than 30 burners.

Stay tuned as we kick off the next phase this week. A select group of students will become Train-the-Trainer certified, equipping them to deliver the basic course to the next class beginning this afternoon.

At the core of Babington Technology’s field feeding systems is the proven Airtronic Burner—the gold standard in performance, safety, and efficiency. Originally developed by Bob Babington in 1970 and adopted by the U.S. military in 1995, this innovative burner leverages a proprietary low-pressure, air-atomizing process to produce ultra-fine fuel particles—up to 1,000 times smaller than those created by conventional burners.

The result is a powerful, clean, and highly efficient burn, achieving up to 99% combustion efficiency. This translates to reduced fuel consumption, enhanced reliability in the field, and unmatched safety for operators. When mission readiness matters, the Airtronic Burner delivers consistent, dependable performance—making it the trusted choice for military field feeding operations worldwide.

Delivering high-quality training to our warfighters is just as critical as the systems they operate. Babington Technology recently traveled to Boise, Idaho, to conduct initial training for new members of the 124th Force Support Squadron’s service team. During the visit, our maintenance team also serviced the Disaster Relief Mobile Kitchen Trailer (DRMKT), ensuring all systems were fully operational and mission-ready.

Today, the Expandable Single Pallet Expeditionary Kitchen (ESPEK) was featured at the Airforce Headquarters Quarterly Readiness Exercise. The demonstration was led by the Air Guard teams from Pennsylvania and Nebraska, who provided detailed instruction on setting up, food preparation, and redevelopment of the ESPEK. This exercise allowed the Air Guard teams to continuously familiarize themselves with the system in preparation for upcoming training events in the following weeks. More photos to come from the event.
