KC Welding first opened its doors to serve the people of the Imperial Valley in 1951. Casey Mostrong, our founder and visionary was head of the Emergency Aviation Repair Department in San Diego during World War II; after the war, Casey brought his mechanical skills and ingenuity to the Imperial Valley and opened up shop on 4th Street, laying the foundation for what is now KC Welding and Rentals. o accommodate increasing success and growth, KC relocated to its current main location at 1549 Dogwood Rd, El Centro in 1963. KC was founded with the vision of producing and supplying top quality, American made agricultural tools and equipment. We take pride in providing reliable customer service with a can-do attitude. While we have grown and expanded over the years, we have stayed true to our founding vision and core values. Casey Mostrong invented and patented various original agricultural tools including vegetable planters, tillage equipment, sled shapes, cultivators among other farming products. Our agricultural products are a key component in the process that puts fresh, American-grown produce on dinner tables across the nation and abroad giving us great satisfaction and motivation to continue to manufacture high quality agricultural products for our valued customers. We strive to serve our customers to the best of our ability and like to think we are an asset to our community here in the Imperial Valley, both citizens as well as local industries including farming, geothermal, construction and solar technologies. The services we offer here at KC include equipment rentals for both large scale commercial applications and small scale homeowner needs, as well as an extensive welding and fabrication shop where we manufacture custom and original agricultural implements and undertake any custom fabrication jobs our customers bring to us. Additionally, we stock a wide variety of products in our industrial/agricultural parts supply store, our products can also be found and purchased on our website, www.kcweldingandrentals.com. As a provider for industrial applications we also carry and provide commercial-grade steel. Recently, we opened a second location which is a smaller scale version of our main facilities, rentals, retail store and fabrication services are all available and offered at our Brawley location.
