During mid August 2023, Sasha with his time attack 350Z (nicknamed "Kels") was able to win his class as well as take the overall win (with a new Gridlife track record) during the "Circuit Legends Festival" which was part of the Gridlife event at Limerock Park Raceway in Connecticut USA. JWT built the specially designed "VQ42" stroker engine and Sasha added his own electric hybrid motor system to further increase the total power output. "Kels" keeps getting better and we congratulate Sasha and his crew for this achievement!

A video showing a recap of the latest Baja 400 race in Baja Mexico where Gerado Novelo and his "Estero Beach Racing" crew were able to finish 1st in class in his VQ40DE powered Nissan off-road race truck. Hugely successful day on the dyno! Excited is an understatement. Gigantic thanks to Jim Wolf Technology for the incredible effort and knowledge to create this monster, and of course PPE Engineering LLC for the custom set of headers to allow this thing to breath properly. Sorry for the lack of dyno video, but a week from now we’ll be testing with plenty of content coming!

This LMP3 prototype race car has been repurposed to run the upcoming 2021 Pikes Peak hill climb race on Sun Jun 27th. Sasha Anis of onpointdyno.com continues to further develop his 350Z time attack road race car. His testing at TMP in Canada shows his hybrid system is working in conjunction with the JWT built 4.2L VQ engine and with some more tuning and development, this Z should be ready to attack Mosport Park in Canada to attempt to set some quick lap times.

Gerardo Novelo SCORE Off-road Person of the Year!

Congrats Gerardo! We first met Gerardo as a young starry-eyed teenager in the ‘80s at his family resort south of Ensenada, Estero Beach Resort. During the late ’80s, early '90s Estero Beach was the Nissan Off-road Factory teams base camp for the Baja races, which always got Geraldo’s interest when we came. As Gerardo and siblings took over the family resort, he never lost interest in Off-road racing, building his own off-road track at the resort and hunting down and purchasing some of the legacy Nissan factory race trucks. More importantly, not to park as garage queens, but to rebuild, update and race with his own son! It has been and is JWT’s pleasure helping Gerardo as he competes and wins in Baja, he truly shares our love of the sport! Oh, and just as proud, Geraldo is now a Federal Senator for Baja and is a voice for responsible off-road racing where it really counts. We are currently developing his first twin-turbocharged off-road engine, maybe with his very busy schedule, he just needs to finish a bit faster now!
