We are seeking a civil engineer, landscape architect or civil engineering design technician with experience in site design, stormwater management design, and land use approval processes in NJ. The successful candidate will assist the principal of the firm with design of development sites, management of creation of project deliverables such as site plans and stormwater management reports, management of drafting staff to complete deliverables, plan review, stormwater management design and calculations, report preparation and preparation and coordination of applications to land use approval agencies for typical land use permits required in NJ. This position can be filled by a licensed engineer or landscape architect, but licensure is not necessary. What is most important for this position is a focus on client service with the ability to identify design constraints and a thorough understanding of the approval process and timing of items needed for successful completion of a project. This position will not require travel other than occasional visits to project sites within an hour of the office and will be full time in our office in Egg Harbor Township. The successful candidate will report direcptly to the owner of the firm and must possess good written and verbal communication skills, have the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously, and successfully complete work with a team of drafting technicians and staff engineers. Knowledge of office software is required, and knowledge of AutoCAD and HydroCAD software is desirable. Salary is commensurate with experience. All resumes should be sent to [email protected].
