Project Spotlight: PC Centennial

Flexible spaces are becoming essential in today’s buildings. On the PC Centennial project, Best Companies had the opportunity to work with the project team to create a space that can easily adapt to different needs throughout the day. The solution was a Skyfold Inc. vertically retractable operable wall, allowing the room to transition between an open gathering space and acoustically separated meeting areas with the push of a button.Because the system retracts into the ceiling cavity, the design maintains clean sightlines while eliminating the need for floor tracks or wall storage pockets. ,Inc was honored to work with Architecture and to deliver the best solutions for City Schools.

Designing the Tulsa Premium Outlets outdoor shopping mall in Jenks, Oklahoma required an array of exterior aesthetics to attract and retain high-end retail tenants and their customers. To maintain the visual impact of the complex, Dryvit’s drainable EIFS were selected in nine different colors and two textures. These options, along with patterns cut into the EPS foam, molding and other shapes, added dimensionality to the façades. A compatible fluid-applied air/water-resistive barrier (AWRB) sealed the entire structure, enabling interior trades to commence sooner. All of this was seamlessly completed by Green Country Interiors and all products provided to them by Best Companies, Inc.The owner ultimately received one warranty for all the EIFS and termination products.

The streamlined approach delivered a stunning, energy-efficient retail space. Continuous insulation in the EIFS cladding addressed Oklahoma’s hot summers by maintaining comfortable interior temperatures and the high-performance, VOC-free finishes ensure long-term durability and fade resistance.

The Tulsa Premium Outlets even earned the prestigious Award of Merit in the Retail category at the 2024 EIFS Excellence Awards by EIMA.
