G&H Engineering was featured on CBS Rio Grande Valley.

Our Principal Engineer, Jacob Garza, P.E., was recently interviewed by CBS Rio Grande Valley / ValleyCentral as a technical source for a story on data center cooling systems.

With years of experience in geothermal energy research during both his undergraduate and graduate studies, as well as national recognition through the U.S. Department of Energy’s Geothermal Student Competition, where his team placed second, Jacob brought a strong technical perspective to the conversation.

We’re proud to see our Principal Engineer in the news, and yes, we had the segment playing on almost every screen in the office.

Notes from another P.E. Day as Garza & Hernandez:

The first photo represents more than a project nearing completion. It reflects over three years of decisions, challenges, lessons , and accomplishments of two great friends who decided to take a chance together.

This year’s Professional Engineers Day also gave the opportunity to step away from daily work, reconnect with the engineering community, and continue learning from the people working in connecting the RGV.

Thank you to the TSPE RGV Chapter, City of Pharr, TX, and Pharr International Bridge team, and everyone who shared their time and knowledge.

This day was a meaningful reminder of how far we have come.

Not every committee stays in the conference room… even if this one did start in one. ⛳️🎣

We had a great time this past Friday with friends and fellow members of the RGV Engineering Alumni Association Fishing Tournament Committee.

It truly makes us happy to be part of this effort for another year. We’re proud to have Rogelio and Jacob serving on the committee—and to once again support the tournament as a Platinum Sponsor.

This event means a lot to us because it brings together great friends and colleagues creating scholarship opportunities for future engineers in the RGV.

Recently, our team had the opportunity to speak with someone whose military background reminded us of the discipline, courage, and commitment that service represents. It was a meaningful reminder that behind every story of service, there are families and sacrifices that deserve our respect.
