100% handmade blades, crafted from either 1095 high carbon steel, or locally treated tractor disk steel. Each blade is crafted to be it's very own piece.

We like making things, trying new ideas, and having fun along the way! 😄 Handmade knives, leather goods, and handkerchiefs made with heart in Stanley, New Mexico. No two knives look identically alike. Exotic hardwoods are a favorite of mine. Colors, contrast, and various patterns are widely used when it comes to knife handles. Made in Stanley New Mexico.

Fresh off the bench and ready for new homes!

One is an Elk Hunter, with stabilized pine cone suspended in blue resin on the scales, segmented with some bright G10. The other is the Harpoon Skinner, a smaller edged tool in camo micarta with more G10, because yes, I'm still on my orange kick 😅
Each one is heat-treated, profiled, ground, finished, and stitched into its sheath by hand right here on our farm in small town New Mexico 😁

I’m pretty proud of how this one turned out! The grinds fell into place, the finish came out great, and I’m especially happy with this segmented handle made from stabilized pine cone, blue resin, and orange G10. If you haven’t noticed, I’m on a bit of an orange G10 kick lately. 😂 Hopefully y’all aren’t getting tired of it! We call this one our Elk Hunter, and it’s a pretty hefty piece. I’ve got its leather waiting on me today, so once that’s finished, this one will be all wrapped up. What do y’all think of the blue and orange combination?

If you hung out with me on my Stories today, thanks for sticking around! Filming myself while trying not to drop sharp objects is a whole skill in itself, so I’m glad you survived the process with me😅

Hope it was cool seeing a bit of how these come together behind the scenes! There’s still nothing quite like taking raw metal and handle material and turning it into something finished like this.

Let me know what you think of how this one turned out..or if you just came for my terrible camera angles. 😂
