The IBC is an international biomanufacturing complex that capitalizes on the abundant agricultural resources of the area to produce products for the food, feed, and household goods industries. At the heart of the IBC is one of Cargill's largest corn processing plants in North America. This plant processes corn into a number of different products, not the least of which is corn sugar. This sugar is then used to power the biological processes that take place in adjacent, over-the-fence, partner facilities such as Ajinomoto and Wacker.
