This week’s sale item is a favorite! 🐷

Smoked Pork Chops $4.00/lb.

🥫 Canning Schedule Change Effective 10/1/2026

•Monday, Tuesday, and Thursday will be MEAT canning only.
•Wednesday will be FRUIT and VEGGIE canning only!

🦌 Deer hunters: Feel free to come out and can your harvest on the meat days. Please keep in mind that all cans must be in the pressure canner 1 hour prior to closing.

There will be NO wild game allowed on the cutting side of our cannery.

If you need beef or pork fat to mix with your deer, we have plenty available for $2.00/lb.

Don’t forget—tomorrow is Thursday, LOCAL GROWERS MARKET day! 🍅

Most of the summer gardens have fizzled out, but there are still some veggies showing up. Y’all come get ’em before it’s too late!

This Week’s Sale Item:

🥩Ground Chuck — $4.75/lb.

Our ground chuck is 81/19%, giving you just enough fat for great flavor without so much that you’re left pouring off grease after cooking.

It’s vacuum-sealed in 1–1¼ lb. packs, flattened out and ready to stack neatly in your freezer.

If you haven’t been following beef prices lately, this is a steal of a deal! Don’t miss it!

We’ve also had a great time this week canning peanuts with some of our agriculture classes. It’s always fun getting to work with these students!

And don’t forget—tomorrow is Growers Market Day! Come on out and support our local farmers, bakers, and crafters. Most of the gardens are starting to dry up, so fresh, locally grown summer produce won’t be available much longer.
