We replace the American flag outside API International every year as a way to respect our history.

Here are some 10" Flat Face Slip-ons with MWD serrations that our machine shop manufacturered.

MWD serrations (multi-directional grooves) differ from standard spiral finishes in that they create intersecting tool paths across the fl**ge face. Instead of a single continuous groove, you get multiple sealing directions.

Why it matters:
• Better gasket “bite” and resistance to movement
• More uniform load distribution under bolt-up
• Reduced leak paths vs single-direction serrations

If you’re dealing with sealing issues, this is one of those details worth paying attention to.
