Today we celebrate Ernie Allen, a true jack of all trades in the sheet metal world. Ernie started at Eagle Metalcraft in 1982 running a 1972 punch press. Since then, he’s seen the industry — and our shop — evolve from manual equipment to advanced laser technology. And he’s still the one raising his hand to learn the next machine.

What Ernie loves most? The challenge. The new jobs. Figuring things out. As he says: “Do the best that you can with what you have to work with.”
