June is National Trench Safety Month, a time to recognize the importance of proper excavation safety training, education, and awareness across our industry. 👷🦺

As a throwback, we’re sharing photos from the annual “Live Trench Training” event hosted through the U.S. Shoring & Equipment Co. ( ) team and the United Contractors Association of Texas. This hands-on training program brings together contractors, industry professionals, educators, and OSHA representatives to promote safe trenching and excavation practices. 🇺🇸

The event features multiple training stations covering topics such as sloping and benching, hydraulic shoring, trench boxes, confined space entry, bore pit safety, and other critical excavation safety subjects. High school students entering the workforce are also invited to participate, helping introduce the next generation of construction professionals to OSHA excavation safety requirements.

We’re proud to have partners like Chad Pendley and the entire U.S. Shoring team actively supporting safety education throughout the industry. Their commitment to training and awareness helps ensure workers return home safely at the end of every day.

🚧 Project Spotlight: Reinhard Boring Technologies 🚧

The crew at Reinhard Boring Technologies completed this 280-foot installation under State Route 161 in New Albany, Ohio, utilizing a Barbco 60-1200 Auger Boring Machine and 60” Boring Machine Tunnel Attachment (BMTA).

Working through sticky clay, cobbles, sand, and a pit filled with mud, the team battled adverse conditions to successfully complete the bore on schedule. Fully equipped with Barbco equipment, the RBT crew hit the exit pit dead on, maintaining perfect line and grade. 🎯

Projects like this are a reminder that when the right equipment is coupled with a dedicated and knowledgeable crew, no job is too difficult. ✅

Meet Aubrey, one of the hardworking fabricators in Fab 1 here at Barbco 🛠️ For the past year and 6 months, Aubrey has been helping build the equipment that keeps trenchless projects moving across the country. ✅

What she enjoys most about working at Barbco?
Learning something new every day
Working alongside great coworkers

Outside of work, Aubrey enjoys spending time with family, taking long drives, and exploring new places. And coming up this July… she and her mom are headed to Florida to swim with sharks! 🦈🌴
