As the evening sun filtered through my blooming yucca, it created incredible texture, depth, and shadows across the wall, turning an ordinary surface into a piece of art.

Long after the sun had set, that feeling was still there.

The landscape lighting was creating the same texture, the same depth, and the same dramatic shadows that had caught my attention earlier.

That’s what I love about thoughtfully designed outdoor lighting. It’s not about making a space brighter. It’s about preserving the beauty that already exists and allowing you to enjoy it long after the sun goes down.

A quick shout-out to Victory Gardens Nursery for helping bring our backyard showroom to life with all the beautiful plants. This yucca’s first bloom created a pretty incredible display.

Where vision, design, and technology come to life.

One of the most rewarding parts of a custom home project is seeing months of planning become reality.

What started as conversations, floor plans, design meetings, and technology decisions is now taking shape throughout this home. From automated shades and keypad locations to programming and integration, every detail was thoughtfully considered long before installation day.

This is the part most people never see—the coordination, problem-solving, and teamwork required behind the scenes.

One of my favorite parts of the design process is helping clients find the perfect balance between beauty and function.

For this home, preserving the view was important, but so was creating a softer, more comfortable quality of light throughout the space.

We selected Lutron’s Natural Selection fabric for all of the front-facing windows to create a clean, uniform appearance from the exterior while still achieving the performance the homeowner needed inside.

Paired with black anodized Palladiom shades, the result feels intentional, architectural, and timeless.

The best shade selections don’t force you to choose between function and beauty—they deliver both.

Some spaces are designed to be seen.

This project was a special collaboration between and — combining intentional landscape design with professionally installed FX Luminaire lighting to create an outdoor experience that feels just as beautiful at night as it does during the day.

Thoughtfully designed and illuminated with purpose, this space comes alive after sunset with warmth, atmosphere, and elegance — creating an environment that invites you to slow down and stay awhile.

To elevate the experience even further, this project also features a high-performance outdoor audio system by Ambisonic — adding another layer of ambiance to an already immersive space. 🎶
