Forcum Lannom Contractors Welcomes Erick Martinez



Forcum Lannom Contractors is proud to welcome Erick Martinez to the team as a Project Engineer. A Dyersburg native, Erick graduated from Dyersburg High School in 2022 before earning his Bachelor of Science in Construction Management from Murray State University in 2026. Having grown up around the company, with both of his parents working at Forcum Lannom Contractors, he is already familiar with the people and values that make up the organization.

Before joining full-time, Erick gained hands-on experience through three summer internships, working in project engineering, superintendent, and project management roles. He was drawn to Forcum Lannom Contractors because of its culture, reputation, and the opportunity to learn from experienced professionals, and he looks forward to continuing to grow his industry knowledge while further developing his estimating skills.



Erick brings a strong work ethic, attention to detail, and a willingness to learn to his role. Outside of work, he enjoys golfing, fishing, traveling, and cooking, with Gatlinburg, Tennessee among his favorite vacation spots.



We’re excited to have Erick on the team and look forward to the contributions he will make at Forcum Lannom Contractors.

Forcum Lannom Contractors is proud to announce the promotions of John Szopinski to Senior Design Manager and David Zarecor to Design Manager.

John joined Forcum Lannom Contractors in 2012 as an intern while attending the University of Tennessee at Martin. After earning his Bachelor of Science in Engineering from the University of Tennessee at Martin, he joined the company full-time in 2013 as a Designer and has continued to grow through the roles of Intern, Designer, Engineer, Design Manager, and now Senior Design Manager. His dedication, leadership, and commitment to excellence have made a lasting impact on both our team and our projects.

David graduated from the University of Tennessee at Martin in 2005 with a Bachelor of Science in Engineering Technology. Following graduation, he moved to Arkansas, where he gained valuable industry experience working with engineering firms for six years before joining Forcum Lannom Contractors in 2011 as an Engineer. Over the years, David has played an important role in numerous projects through his technical expertise, dedication, and leadership, earning this well-deserved promotion to Design Manager.

We are incredibly proud of both John and David for their accomplishments and continued growth within Forcum Lannom Contractors.

We knocked it out of the park at our Spring Event with the Memphis Redbirds ⚾️

Great turnout from part of the FLC crew! Good food, great time, and a solid afternoon at the ballpark. Always a win to get some of the team together outside of work.
