ESI performs construction to meet the written standards of either one of or a combination of the following organizations: ACCT, American Society for Testing and Materials – International (ASTM) or the Climbing Wall Association (CWA) including all applicable local and federal building codes. ESI conducts trainings to the written standards of either one of or a combination of the following organizations: ACCT, The Association for Experiential Education (AEE), The American Camping Association (ACA), ASTM, Boy Scouts of America (BSA) and the CWA. ESI designs and installs low challenge courses, high ropes courses, aerial adventure parks, zip lines, canopy tours and climbing structures for indoor and outside. ESI trains instructors, facilitators and guides in the operations of their courses or tours. ESI conducts technical course inspections, program reviews, and staff certification for all courses we build and those built by our competitors. All of our lead builders and lead trainers have worked in the challenge course and adventure education fields both facilitating and managing challenge courses. Our staff understands the essential need to design and build a challenge course that is easy to operate, visually pleasing and friendly to end users(easy to operate). Many of our staff are active within the challenge course and experiential education industry, serving on boards and committees of ACCT, ACA, ASTM and AEE. Our staff maintain memberships with and attend and present at a variety of international, national and local conferences throughout the year including those sponsored by: AEE, ACCT, NAARSO, ACA, ASME, ASTM, CCAC, CWA, The Association for Physical Education, Recreation and Dance (APHERD), Teachers of Experiential Adventure Methodology (TEAM) and others.
