We recently added some exciting new tools to the collection, including two of these cordless, electric brush cutters. Also, an auger, a leaf blower, and a pole saw -- all cordless and electric.

If you have shubbery to clear, post-holes to drill, detritus to blow, or limbs to fell, we've got you covered. All thanks to the City of Durango's Impact & Resiliency Award.

And there's more to come. We'll be using the grant funds to procure other exciting additions, including the long-awaited rototiller and cement mixer.

Stay tuned, friends!

Today, in the , how DTL and help locals save money and reduce waste.

At a time when so many things are more expensive (sob), and when the more sustainable option is often the more expensive option (boo), DTL and the Outdoor Exchange are out here:

(1) Offering more affordable options
(2) Making the more sustainable option the more affordable option

Huzzah!

Thanks to the Herald for the story. Thanks to the Outdoor Exchange for what you bring to our community. And thanks to DTL members and supporters; you make the tool library possible.

Sorry, friends. But the tool library will be closed this Friday and Saturday. We will be open as usual today and tomorrow (Wednesday and Thursday).

And we'll be back in action as usual next week.

We apologize for any inconvenience, and appreciate your patience.

This year's repair cafe was a blast. We had a fabulous crew of volunteers, and together we repaired lamps, zippers, bicycles, sewing machines, and more.

Thanks to our volunteers for sharing their time and skills.

And thanks to community members for bringing in things to be repaired.

Together, we helped make a bunch of things useful for longer.
