As many celebrate Easter today, I wanted to share how one of our Godwin Mfg employees is celebrating.

Jeremiah Massengill was welcoming this beautiful day by preaching a sunrise service at Grace Chapel Church. He’s our wet painter at Godwin.

Happy Anniversary Godwin Manufacturing!!

On this day (April 1st) in 1966 Pat Godwin Sr. quit his job as a Pepsi Cola driver to start a small welding business in his backyard. I think It's safe to say it was a success. 60 years have passed and it has grown into 7 successful and industry respected companies.

The first picture is Pat in front of one of his inventions featured on the front page of Trailer Body Builders in April 1988. It was one of his many genius ideas that have continued to propel Godwin forward.

Thanks to his strong foundation and the knowledge he passed onto his children, grandchildren and staff, The Godwin Group continues to not only grow but flourish.

* Establishing and maintaining new and existing customers through visits and calls
* Identifying customer needs and expectations, providing timely & accurate responses, quotes, and entering customer orders into our business system
* Clearly communicating customer needs and expectations effectively to all internal parties as needed (i.e. Engineering, production, etc.) to ensure customer expectations are met and exceeded.
* Maintaining unwavering integrity, professional attitude and positive energy while dealing with all customers within the assigned territory
* Maintaining product knowledge and sharing information with customers in order to increase sales
* Work with other departments such as Marketing, Engineering, Accounting, Shipping and Warranty as needed
* Demonstrating products and working trade shows as needed
* Other duties as assigned

Job Requirements:
1. Minimum three to five years sales experience in truck equipment.
2. Valid Driver’s License with good driving record
4. Ability to deal calmly and effectively with customers promoting a positive company image.
5. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
6. Basic computer skills (proficiency with MS Word, Excel, & PowerPoint).
7. Must have ability to travel 60-75% of the time.
8. Ability to attend and participate in required company meetings and training sessions.
9. Must be a team player that maintains high integrity while meeting company goals.
10. Candidate must reside in territory
11. Technical knowledge preferred (hydraulics, steel, chassis, bridge laws, weight distribution).
12. MUST LOVE people and this wonderful industry

Job Type: Full-time, Base salary+ Commission
