M&M Resources- A Pickers Paradise

Somewhere in our shop you might find a perfectly good avocado-green casserole (hotdish) dish waiting for its reawakening.

👻 The ghosts of past decorating trends might also include an artificial ficus tree, a floral couch, a lava lamp, and impressively large pleated window treatments.

But many decorating trends are coming back from the dead. Check out the link in the comments about 90s trends that are back in style.

This Halloween, we hope you celebrate the ghosts of decorating trends past, and stop by Thursday, Friday, or Saturday, 12- 5 p.m.

Who knows? That thing you thought was hopelessly outdated might be exactly what your home needs.

Hosting guests soon? Is your guest room ready? 🛏️

If family or friends are coming to visit, it might be time to take a good look at that guest room.

Does it need a nightstand so guests have somewhere to put their phone and glasses? A bedside lamp for reading? A dresser or bench for luggage?

And don't forget the little touches that make guests feel at home:
• A basket with extra towels and toiletries
• A mirror for getting ready
• A small clock
• A few books or magazines
• A little artwork to make the room feel welcoming

You don't have to spend a fortune to create a comfortable, inviting space. Sometimes a few thoughtfully chosen secondhand finds make all the difference.

Stop by A Picker's Paradise this weekend and find something to make their stay a little more comfortable.

We are open Thursday – Saturday, 12:00 – 5:00, at 7 Cannon Street, Dundas, MN. See you soon!

Who decided everything on the Thanksgiving table has to match? 🦃 🍽️

The plates don't have to be identical. The serving bowls can come from three different decades. And those old-fashioned glasses might be the most beautiful things on the table.

A little mixing and matching can give your holiday table a lot more personality.

Before you shop for new, expensive dining essentials, stop by A Picker's Paradise and see what you can put together.

Open Thursday–Saturday, 12 – 5 PM at 7 Cannon Street, Dundas.

Shopping lists work a little differently when you're thrifting. 📝

You came to A Picker's Paradise looking for a lamp, a picture frame, or something for that empty corner in the living room.

But then you spot a great old dresser for the guest room. A basket perfect for extra blankets. Some unique glasses to hold your favorite cocktails. And a few garage & tool organization things with prices too good to leave behind.

So go ahead and make a list. Just leave room at the bottom for whatever catches your eye.

Five bucks. 😳 All furniture under the tent is just $5 (OR LESS) this weekend at A Picker’s Paradise!

👀 It caught your eye the first time you walked by.
The second time, you slowed down.
The third pass, you're giving it the side-eye.

- Do I need it?
- Where would I put it?
- But it’s such a good price.
- Should I just get it?

While you're debating, someone else might walk through the door, spot the exact same thing and think, "Yep. That's coming home with me.”

That's part of the fun of thrifting. When you find something you really like, sometimes you have to take the opportunity when it's there — because tomorrow, it might not be.

Come see what catches your eye this weekend at A Picker's Paradise!

That pitcher could be your next favorite vase. That small dresser? The entryway storage you’ve been needing. And that serving tray might look pretty good on your coffee table.

One of the best parts of thrifting is seeing what something could become. Sometimes it takes a little paint. Sometimes it just takes bringing it home and putting it to a different use.

Take a fresh look at A Picker’s Paradise in Dundas. You might find just the thing—for something it wasn’t originally meant to do.
