Helping the industry move forward starts with sharing what we know. Our team recently spent the day at NWTC College of Advanced Manufacturing & Skilled Trades, putting our natural gas products to work under real-world conditions while filming a new series of how-to videos for utility professionals.

We also had the opportunity to work alongside NWTC’s Gas Utility students—sharing what we know, giving hands-on experience, and talking through the ins and outs of the products and applications they’ll encounter in the field.

It was a great opportunity to connect with the next generation of gas utility professionals who inspire us every day, while creating a practical resource that operators can use to see our products in action and brush up on key applications.

A big thank you to NWTC for the continued partnership and another great day of collaboration and hands-on learning! 👏

Today, A.Y. McDonald officially opened our brand new, state-of-the-art brass foundry in Dickeyville, Wisconsin. After 170 years in business, moments like this still feel monumental.

It was emotional. It was exciting. And it was a reminder of just how many people it takes to make something this big happen. Thousands of people played a role in bringing this project to life, and it will impact many thousands more.

But from day one, our focus was always on the people who make A.Y. McDonald what it is: our incredible co-workers and our . Foundries are traditionally hot, loud, dirty, and dangerous. Our mission was simple: build a foundry that is less hot, less loud, less dirty, and less dangerous.

And we did it.

Our co-workers now have a modern space with natural lighting, brand-new machines and equipment, and an entire basement designed so they don’t have to enter pits.

And for our customers, this investment means significant new capabilities—allowing us to produce brass castings like never before.

The ribbon is cut. The doors are open. And now it’s time to roll up our sleeves and pour some brass. The real work has just begun.

What started as a patch of dirt is now our new home in East Tennessee. 🏭 Building our new state-of-the-art facility in Bristol took teamwork, craftsmanship, and a whole lot of people coming together with a shared purpose.

Now that we’ve officially cut the ribbon, we thought we’d take a look back at how it all came together. We’re looking forward to a new chapter for A.Y. McDonald and the opportunity to serve our customers even better.

A building is more than steel, concrete and walls. It’s the people who build it and work in it who make it a home.
