On April 2, 2023 our purchasing manager Tray Champion fell from a ladder and suffered a severe spinal cord injury. Since his injury, Tray has undergone intense physical therapy at Shephard Spinal Center. Tray has come a long way since his accident, but still has a lot of rehab to go. His insurance benefits have run out, so from this point forward he will be paying out of pocket for his rehab sessions. Starting in late August, he will begin outpatient therapy. He will be going to therapy 2-3 times per week and each session will cost $700.00. Tray and Leah have created a go fund me to help them with these expenses and are thankful for those that have already contributed to the journey in Trayโs recovery.
The go fund me story recaps what Tray and Leahโs family have been through since 2022โ. However, it doesnโt mention 2021โ.
In February 2021โ, Leah and Tray were pregnant. Leah became septic in her uterus which was life threatening for Leah. Due to the severity, they lost the baby which was devastating and heartbreaking for Leah and Tray.
It goes unsaid that theyโve had unfortunate circumstances in their lives. They have remained strong and faithful through these challenging times and are grateful for everyoneโs generosity and kind words of encouragement.
Please pass this along so we can get them the help they need.
Thank you all!
