Welcome our new Dowagiac Store Manager, Ismael Moreno!

A few words from Ismael:
“My name is Ismael, and I’m the Store Manager of the Dowagiac Ridge NAPA Auto Parts store. I grew up and have lived in the Dowagiac area since the age of 8. I started working at The Ridge Company when I graduated from high school in June 2013. I worked as a Delivery Driver, eventually moving my way to the counter helping customers find the parts they needed. Here, I received great training from some very intelligent people like Dan Mather, Chris Rudlaff, Brian Shemick, Larry Brewer, and Lisa Reavis. After working at the Dowagiac store for about three years, I transferred to the Benton Harbor store to be the Assistant Manager to Roger Jackson. After a while of working with Roger, the Portage store was in need of some help because they lost their manager, so I spent a few weeks working with that great team. A few weeks later, I received an offer to work as the Store Manager at the South Haven NAPA Auto Parts. I created a very tight relationship with their customers and managed that store for 6 mo. until there was a Manager position that opened up in the Benton Harbor store. Having previously worked there and loving the area, customers, and the employees, I took the job immediately. I was able to manage that store successfully for a year until I had to leave the company for personal reasons. While being gone from The Ridge Company, I met my lovely wife Jennifer in July 2018, and we got married Nov. 30, 2019 – it's been amazing! In April 2021, I received a call that there was a management position available in the Dowagiac NAPA Auto Parts store. I decided it was time for me to do what I love again and came on board with this excellent team. Stop by and let one of our team members assist you in getting the things you need. • Providing timely and correct parts deliveries to our wholesale customers

• Establishing an efficient route of delivery

• Maintaining professional attitude, conduct, and appearance

• Maintaining the delivery vehicle to include cleanliness and maintenance of the vehicle

• Operating the delivery vehicle in a safe and cautious fashion to maintain a clean driving record

• Back up in-store positions when needed

• Must be able to lift 50lbs

• Must have a clean driving record
