CNC Machine Operator
Summary
The CNC Machine Operator at HM Machine runs assigned CNC machines and supports production procedures for the manufacturing of product. The CNC Machine Operator produces parts with proficiency to meet specifications, within allotted time standards, and with minimal supervision in the fast-paced production environment at HM Machine.
Responsibilities
• Perform operation of assigned CNC machines
• Document operations per procedure
• Understand capabilities of tooling and machinery
• Apply quality system requirements and perform inspections
• Reports all deviations in proper machine performance
• Consult with supervisor with respect to tooling needs
• Maintain fixtures and set-ups for assigned projects
• Perform preventative maintenance on CNC Machines as needed
• Maintain a team focused work environment
Qualifications
• High school diploma or equivalent
• Experience in a manufacturing / production environment
• Able to use precision measuring tools, such as micrometers
• Knowledge of G&M Codes
• General computer skills
• Written and verbal communication skills
• A positive attitude
• Self-motivated
