The Schneider Electric LC1D40AB7 uses a 24 VAC, 50/60 Hz coil, while the LC1D40AM7 configuration uses a 220 VAC, 50/60 Hz coil. On compatible TeSys D contactors, the AC coil can be replaced to adapt the contactor to the required control voltage.

Proper disassembly and reassembly are critical. Protect the internal spring and mechanism, install the correct replacement coil, and verify smooth mechanical operation before returning the contactor to service.

⚙️ Step-by-Step:

Remove the Coil Assembly
Press the blue security retainer and slide the coil assembly out of the contactor.
Release the Existing Coil
Carefully pull back the retaining clips and remove the LX1FH1102 – 110Vac coil.
Install the Replacement Coil
Position the LX1FH2202 – 220Vac coil inside the assembly and make sure it is properly seated.
Reinstall and Secure

Align the assembly with the contactor guides and push it firmly into position until it locks securely.
