A new connection is taking shape in St. Lucie County!
The new State Road A1A North Causeway Bridge opened to traffic this spring, marking a major milestone for the $117 million bridge replacement project.
Crews are continuing to demolish the old drawbridge, with work now focused on removing the existing bascule bridge piers. Once the old structure has been fully removed, mariners will benefit from improved navigation along the Intracoastal Waterway.
Work also continues on the East Coast Greenway connection between the shared-use path along the bridge’s north side and Old Dixie Highway, expanding safe access for pedestrians and bicyclists.
Corradino is proud to lead community outreach for this transformative project—coordinating closely with mariners, the U.S. Coast Guard, the City, community stakeholders, and motorists to communicate changing conditions, address concerns, and help each phase of construction run as smoothly as possible.
