A notable milestone: For the first time since March 16th, over 1 million passengers took flight. The industry has been proactive in taking the necessary steps for the safety of their passengers. According to Transportation Security Administration, the million plus passengers screened yesterday compares with 2.6 million on the same day last year. Job Description:

- Able to operate Manual Lathe and Manual Mill ( As applicable)
- Able to read and work with blueprints and shop drawings and correct if necessary
- Make sure all work is carried out to the highest standard – Be on top of Quality Control.
- Maintains safe and clean work environment;
- Operate various machines.
- Machines preventive maintenance.
- Complete timesheets and work travelers.
- Use measuring devices and techniques correctly to assure proper size.
- Perform milling operations such as drilling, tapping, boring, etc.
- Understand types of materials and recommend best options.
- Observe all safety procedures and use proper protective gear (especially eye and ear protection).
- Other duties as assigned

Position Requirements:

- Effective written and oral communication
- Bilingual is a plus (English and Spanish)
- Math skills
- Ability to lift a minimum of 50 pounds regularly, occasionally up to 100 pounds with assistance
- Must have a valid driver’s license
- Perform basic machining operations using manual lathe
- Operate wire EDM
- Experience in fixture design and fabrication.
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints
- Willing to work long/extra hours when needed
- Verifiable experience
