Brandon is one of our longest serving inspectors who has been with us for over 8 years! In that time he has gained experience in erosion and sediment control, earned his QSD, and became our go-to guy for training new inspectors in the field. We are excited to announce Katie Mallen's promotion to Stormwater Plan Specialist Lead! 🎉

Katie started as an intern with experience working on heavy civil, mine, and levee projects before joining us full-time in 2021. She has her civil engineering degree, several years of writing SWPPPs, and also serves as a QSP and QSD in the field! Katie is a wonderful member of our team and we're excited to see what she will achieve in her new role!

Check out this really cool new parking garage for Sacramento International Airport (SMF). We prepared the SWPPP and are performing QSD inspections. OTTO is doing a great job keeping the site clean and monitoring stornwater runoff. This project involves massive concrete pours. We appreciate the opportunity to work for Bennett Emgineering on this large project for SMF and Sacramento County.

Say hello to Garage 2 — the most literal and straightforward name in SMF history. 😂

We kept it simple, we kept it logical, we resisted the urge to get weird. Otto

Construction is building this beauty one floor at a time and we can’t wait for those 5,500+ extra spots.

Need help with a Dewatering Plan or ATS Treatment System? Let us work for you! We have collaborated with Stormwater Treatment System Providers to provide groundwater and surface water dewatering and treatment solutions for dozens of projects over the years. This system on Hwy 50 in Sacramento provided a groundwater dewatering well system with desilting tanks and the ability to add in ATS treatment with chitosan when needed for also handling stormwater from the work area. We wrote the plan for submittal to Caltrans and coordinated to help the Contractor Flatiron Dragados obtain the necessary discharge permit.

Thank you to WSA (now Clear Water Services) for providing the system and key specifications. This multi-year project has been a success with handling large amounts of water over summer and winter and during several years of construction.

So this site just looks like dirt now but in a few short months it is going to be a Groundwater Recharge Basin and Wetland Habitat for ducks and other migratory birds. Very cool to be a part of this Duck's Unlimited project. Our company was entrusted to prepare the SWPPP and provide stormwater inspection services.
