Here's a little look at what I’ve been working on over the last few months. Most of my projects have been confidential / Non-public but the ones I can share tell their own story...

It’s been a great mix of projects, including product design for CNC machining, injection molded product design, patent preparation and development, robotic EOAT, 3D Scanning and reverse engineering.

I always enjoy the variety—taking on new challenges, solving problems, and helping turn ideas into something that can actually be manufactured.

One of the challenges of product development is that I can't share most of what I'm working on. Many of the projects I take on are under NDA, so it can be months—or even years—before they're released to the public.

This is one project I started back in December for a small startup that's bringing a premium product to the game call industry. It's always rewarding to finally see months of design, engineering, and problem-solving make it into the hands of customers.

Any friends who are serious whitetail hunters, take a look at what they're building and show them some support. And keep an eye out—there are several other exciting projects in the pipeline that I'll be able to share when the time is right.

Scaled Concepts LLC is looking for an Electrical Engineer / PCB Designer to support development of a compact electronics project.

Project Overview:

Small custom PCB approximately the size of a key fob
Powered by a CR2032 coin cell battery
Drives a series of LEDs
Focus on compact packaging, low power consumption, and manufacturable
No programming necessary

Scope of Work / Deliverables:

Schematic design
PCB layout
Component selection / BOM
Power consumption optimization
Prototype-ready Ge**er files
Support for initial prototype bring-up/testing preferred

Looking for either:

Independent contractor / freelancer
Small engineering firm

Experience with compact low-power electronics and LED control is preferred.
