Our new shop is coming along nicely. 40x60. Should be moving in within the next couple weeks. This, and our house is what I’ve been working towards for the last 6 years. It’s nice to see it come to fruition.

Another range hood for an amazing remodel home in Desert Mountain. Steel frame which was then covered in durarock and the granite tile (done by the company not me) and I capped the bottom with my stainless steel fascia plate and attached the hood vent insert. Turned out beautifully.

A side note* After building and installing the subframe, the owner of the construction company decided last minute to change the total height of it and have me shorten it another 8 inches. And then it was finished.

Just checking in! Here’s some recent small jobs, first two are steel fireplace frames for a remodel in Desert Mountain, the stair railings were existing but I had to do re-fabricating and heavy modifications to them for a different remodel house in Desert Mountain, the railings will get a new coat of black from my mobile electrostatic coater next week, and lastly a security gate for some chemical equipment at the Him’s/ Apostrophe warehouse down in Tempe.

Poor lighting doesn’t make for good pictures but here is a mountain scenery I finished over a fireplace, I made it in 3 levels to give it some flair, most of the hardware is hidden behind each layer. I used various chemicals to strip and patina the plates to give them their look. These will rust eventually.

Extending, modifying, and straightening, two sets of existing railings for a nice remodel in Desert Mountain. I’m not sure the guy who originally made these used a jig or fixture 😅, the other set not pictured, meets at a 90 degree on top of a pair of pony walls that were extended in length, so I had to recreate the extension and redesign how they attach to eachother and do some repair. These will get fresh powdercoat and reinstall.
