Almost 10 years ago to the day, co-founders Kyle Bartell & Charles Molnar of Sit On It Detroit were featured in Hour Magazine Best of Detroit (photoed on the left) highlighting their company. Install of our first set of signage yesterday at Sanctuary Farms. These custom wayfinding placards will help visitors navigate the grounds. We couldn't be more proud of how these turned out given this was our first attempt at exterior signage.

If you're not familiar with the amazing work Midlife Stockman is doing, prepare to be blown away at the transformation he's made to a pocket park in the Fitzgerald Neighborhood by clearing out the overgrown weeds, tall grass and debris.

One of our SOID benches we built back in 2020 made even made cameo in his viral lot transformation video 47:00 min in. But more importantly, the work he's doing is truly commendable and we hope this will help kick start residents using the lot to gather again.
