The City of Grosse Pointe Park and the Grosse Pointe Park Foundation are excited to announce the America 250 Kids Parade on Saturday, June 27th!

As our nation celebrates 250 years, we’re inviting families to come together for an afternoon that celebrates community, creativity, and patriotism.

Children of all ages are invited to decorate their bikes, scooters, wagons, and strollers and join us for an afternoon of fun! The parade will start at Pointe Hardware at 2pm, continue around the Park and end back at Pointe Hardware for prizes and kids’ activities. Stay tuned for more post-parade activity updates and announcements!

We can’t wait to see the creativity our community brings to the celebration! Awards will be presented for Best Decorated Bike, Best Decorated Wagon, and Most Patriotic Costume.

Registration is required. Helmets are required for all riders, and only non-motorized bikes, scooters, and wagons are permitted. Follow the link in our bio to register and learn more.

Build something together this Father’s Day!

As part of our new Little Builders: Take-Home Edition summer series, we’re excited to officially open preorders for our first project: Cedar Planter Box Kits

Each kit will come with everything you need to assemble your own cedar planter at home, making it the perfect Father’s Day project for dads, grandpas, kids, and families to build together!

Kits include:
- Pre-cut cedar pieces
- Soil & Seeds 
- Necessary hardware
- Assembly instructions

2’x2’ for $99 or 1’x4’ for $149 

Orders must be placed by Sunday, June 14

Kits will be available for pickup Friday, June 19, just in time for Father’s Day weekend!
