On Tuesday, a local stamping plant found us on the web. They had a failed bronze worm gear in a Winsmith speed reducer. The factory lead time on the replacement gear set was two weeks. Our engineers were able to identify the gear and find it in one of our new reducers. We replaced the gears, bearings, and seals in their unit. They were running the next day
