We hit the road in style today for a little baseball and a lot of team time. Huge thanks to The Detroit Bus Company for the smooth ride — a Detroit original pulling up to another.

The ASCO/MSI crew wrapped up early to catch the Tigers game and enjoy some well-earned time together outside the shop.

We’re back to business Thursday at 8AM, ready to stock, source, and ship.

ASCO will be wrapping up at 11:30 AM so our team can enjoy a well-earned afternoon at the Detroit Tigers game.

Happy Holidays from all of us at ASCO! 🎄✨ We’re still open today, but the countdown is on as we wrap up and get ready to close for the holidays. Our laser-cut reindeer and trees are adding a bit of festive cheer to the shop before we officially shut down for a well-deserved break.

This morning, we made a special delivery to Gompers Elementary School in Detroit: 28 boxes filled with warm coats, hats, and gloves for the kids, all loaded onto our 25’ flatbed Peterbilt. 🧥❄️

Giving back is a tradition for the Marshall Family, who’ve been supporting the Detroit community for years. With temperatures at 27° and snow in the forecast, we’re proud to help keep kids warm and ready for the winter ahead. Thank you to everyone who helped make this possible!

Happy International 3D Printing Day! 🖨️✨ While ASCO hasn’t yet embraced additive manufacturing as part of our core processes, it’s definitely on our radar. And we’ve got at least one team member who’s an enthusiast, always finding creative ways to connect 3D printing with metalworking.

Today, we printed press-fit connectors to pair with 1/2” square 1/16” wall aluminum tubes, creating a sturdy cube that doubles as a lightbox for product photography. It’s a fun experiment that shows how additive manufacturing can complement traditional fabrication techniques.
