About Robey Industries
We aren’t a corporate machine where you are just a number on a spreadsheet, and we don't do micromanaging. We are a reliable shop right here in Benton, IL. We believe in working hard, building products that last, and conducting our business with uncompromising integrity.
Role Overview
Most shops drain the pride right out of your work with workplace drama, babysitting, and clock-watchers. You shouldn’t have to deal with that when all you want to do is put in an honest, hard day's work.
We are looking for an experienced MIG welder, fabricator, and manual machinist who takes extreme pride in their craftsmanship. If you are a self-motivator who wants to escape corporate red tape and join a team that values accountability and hard work, this spot is for you.
Key Responsibilities
1) MIG Welding & Fabrication: Lay clean, precise beads and build custom projects from the ground up.
2) Machining: Confidently operate manual lathes and milling machines to spec.
3) Ownership: Take pride in your workspace and your output. You own your projects from start to finish.
4) Daily Work Ethic: Show up consistently and be ready to put in a full, productive day.
Qualifications & Character
1) Experienced Craftsman: Proven track record in MIG welding, fabrication, and manual machining.
2) Uncompromising Integrity: You do the right thing even when no one is looking, and you stand behind the quality of your work.
3) Self-Motivator: We don't do babysitting. You know what needs to be done, and you take the initiative to do it.
4) No Drama: You leave your ego at the door, communicate clearly, and work well with the rest of the team.
5) Dedicated Worker: You are here to get the job done right, not just to watch the clock.
🟥🟥👇 IMPORTANT: HOW TO APPLY 👇🟥🟥
We are not looking for a standard corporate resume or your social media feed. If you have the required experience, here is your 3-step plan to apply:
1) Gather your proof: Find clear pictures of your actual welding and fabrication work.
2) Send an email: Email a short, honest rundown of your skills along with those pictures directly to [email protected].
3) The Interview: If your past work aligns with what we need, we will bring you into the shop to show us what you can do in person.
