Here’s the answer to the question I asked in my last post since no one guessed it haha. We are changing to a higher compression piston! We had 9:1 in it these should put me right around 10:1 so with the added cylinder pressure and load from being In the car I wanted to make sure things stayed put once we start throwing 25+ pounds of boost at it.

Today we had the first fire up on the new !! Thanks to for the help with some trigger settings to get it to run pretty smooth. I haven’t touched any of the ve tables yet this is straight up a base map with me simply putting in my injector size and displacement! So far the maxxecu is light years ahead of my old motec ecu. I quickly setup the mdash on the new 10” android radio to show off the new display/gauges for next season. I’ll have more on that when I set it up 100% shoutout to the homies for supporting me and helping with all kinds of misc wiring connectors/sensors etc thank you!!

Using this beautiful holiday weekend to make some headway on the new wiring harness!! Engine side is all terminated and ready tomorrow I’ll work on terminating the body side to merge it all together and hope to fire it off this weekend!!

From concept to reality! Just waiting on some mounting isolators and a couple odd connectors etc then we can start wiring !

Finalizing the new control center for the smart! Utilizing a race ecu 6 relay center ignition driver two 3 port mac valves one is for the slipper clutch the other is for boost control.

It’s officially upgrade season! First thing on the list is a re-wire of the merged smart harness to standalone ecu. The car was on an outdated motec m84 we are now switching over to race! This ecu will open up a lot of possibilities for us like boost by gear/slipper clutch control for launching the smart and a ton of fail safes we are adding to make sure the engine stays together at 500hp 👌

I wanted to start a page dedicated to the smart. The plan is to completely redo it this year and wanted a way that everyone could follow along if you wanted to.
(Hint) We plan to race the smart next year!!!
