To kick off February, we’d like to recognize one of the many great employees we have at Team Services! From our Cedar Rapids location, Jamal Dyab is an engineer that joined us back in summer of 2021. After getting his bachelor’s degree at Al Hosn University, he worked on large transportation projects for several construction companies and then moved from Abu Dhabi to the USA in 2020. We first hired him as a technician, and as he quickly picked up on lab testing, geotechnical report preparation, and drilling coordination, we transitioned him into the engineering department. He is also currently studying for the Fundamentals of Engineering Exam. Jamal has a wife and two daughters, that are all originally from America. Thank you Jamal for all of your hard work!

Thrilled to shine the spotlight on Dave Hansel this month! Dave is a dedicated member to our team who has been with us for about 25 years! Here are some fun facts about him.

Dave was raised in Volga City and went to college at Iowa University to pursue his engineering degree. Aside from working with Team Services, Dave has also been truck driver and traveled the country. He married his wife Donna in the year of 1997. In his spare time, Dave enjoys maintaining his and Donna’s ranch and barn at their Swan, Iowa property. He used to raise cows, chickens, and sheep, but has been more into leisurely activities around the house.

Thank you Dave, for everything you’ve done throughout the years!

Meet one of our great employees, Richard! We want to recognize Richard for his hard work and inspiring story. Here’s a little bit about Richard!

Born in South Sudan, Richard made his way to Iowa 26 years ago. He is married with 5 children and enjoys reading books and doing woodwork in his spare time. When looking back to his roots in Africa, Richard misses many things including the town of Kajo-Keji and the organic food his beautiful country has to offer. While living in Iowa he has come to find some things he enjoys here including the landscape from the Loess Hills of Western Iowa, and the Rolling Hills from the South to Northeast. He especially likes the Loess Hills because it reminds him of the Great Rift Valley of Central Kenya and Western Uganda. Richard has been with us at Team Services for 5+ years.
