Tom brings over 40 years of experience as a mechanical and electrical engineer, with extensive experience in various sectors of the vertical construction industry. He’s contributed to the successful delivery of commercial, healthcare, education, government, and mixed-use developments, always with a focus on high-performance and well-coordinated solutions.

For the past decade, Tom has combined his technical expertise with strategic relationship-building to help firms grow through thoughtful client engagement and market insight. At AE Design, he’ll be focused on bringing in new business and helping round out our BD team, strengthening our ability to connect and collaborate with current and new clients.

Just landed in the future of private aviation✨🛫 The new Signature Flight Support terminal at Huntsville Int’l Airport, designed in collaboration with Thompson Engineering, was spotlighted in Forbes back in February for redefining luxury travel in emerging markets.

With space-age design, curated amenities, and a nod to Rocket City’s aerospace legacy, this project elevates the guest experience while fueling economic growth in one of the Southeast’s fastest-growing tech hubs.

Our team had such a great time at Q3 Flower Hour at Rowdy Poppy! Beyond a fun evening of blooms and laughter, it was another reminder of why we love being part of the Women in Lighting + Design community. A little throwback spotlight on one of our favorite hospitality projects: Municipal Grand in Savannah, GA. ✨

We had the privilege of designing the lighting for this bold reimagining of a 1960s municipal building into a boutique hotel. Partnering with Lynch Associates Architects, we leaned into the building’s midcentury roots and layered in lighting that amplifies warmth, texture, and character.

From the sculptural lobby bar to the softly lit guest rooms and rooftop Sun Club, each space was crafted to create connection, comfort, and energy.
