Today, We Celebrate 90 Years of Mechanics Who Move Us Forward

As Schumacher Elevator approaches our 90-year anniversary, National Elevator Mechanics Day takes on special meaning. Five generations of family ownership have been made possible by the generations of mechanics who have worn our name in the field.

Our mechanics are more than technicians. They are problem-solvers, safety champions, and the trusted face of Schumacher to every customer we serve. Ninety years of reputation has been built one service call, one modernization, one safety test at a time, by the people closest to the work.

The tools, codes, & the buildings we service have evolved. What hasn't changed is the standard our mechanics carry into every shaft, machine room, and lobby across the Midwest: do the job right, take care of the customer, and represent the company with pride.

To our mechanics: you are the reason Schumacher has thrived for nearly a century and the reason we are confident about the next one. Thank you for your craftsmanship, your integrity, and your commitment to keeping people moving safely every single day.

Here's to 90 years, and to the mechanics who built every one of them!
