Before a fixture ever lights a room, it comes to life on paper, in modeling, and in prototypes.

The payoff is seeing our team's technical expertise and craftsmanship converge in the final fixture. In Renew's case, you can see the former in the optical design of the direct regressed lens, which reduces high angle glare, and the latter in the tongue-and-groove woodwork, which envelopes the internal joining mechanism.

When budget is limited but the brief is impact, there are two things we love seeing designers use to fill the gaps: color and light.

Color is obvious, and light should be too. Think about it: You have to specify it no matter what. You might as well make it a feature and not just a utility.

This color-blocked office fit for the creatives at gaming company Pocket Gems is a great example of both. A punchy palette plus Edge fixtures suspended in interesting patterns throughout.
