Setting up my table again this year at the Christ Church ARP Artisans Market in Denver.

Saturday, November 14, 8am to 1pm
409 N. Little Egypt Rd, Denver NC

I'll be honest, I don't have a big spread this year. We've been busy in the shop with railings and gates. But I'll have a few metal art pieces, and I'll be there all morning if you want to talk about a custom piece for Christmas or a project around the house.

There's a lot of good folks selling pottery, jewelry, bread, baked goods and more. Worth the trip.

Handrails and railings are our bread and butter, but every once in a while a job comes along that's too interesting to pass on. This mirror frame was one of them — scalloped wrought iron, matte black powder coat, built for a 60x54 mirror. Heading to the glass shop to get it fitted next.

Heads up if you're calling Dice Metal Works —

Our new business number got hit hard by spam callers. I mean bad — dozens of spoofed calls a day, sometimes back to back. It got to where I couldn't tell a real customer from a robocall, and I was worried I'd miss actual leads in the flood.

So I had to turn on a screen: when you call, it'll ask you to press 1 before it rings through to me. Spam bots can't do that, so it filters them out. Takes you two seconds — just press 1 and I'll pick up like normal.

Sorry for the extra step. Didn't want to do it, but it's the only way I could keep the phone usable. If you've called recently and it didn't go through, try again — press 1 and I'm right here.

I was honored to donate this custom-made Celtic Tree of Life art piece—cut from a real antique sawmill blade—to the recent “Tunnels 2 Towers” golf tournament raffle.
It’s always special supporting such a great cause, and I was thrilled to receive this photo from the raffle winner! They just sent this shot of the piece newly mounted above their patio window. It looks fantastic against that stucco wall, and I love how the lighting hits the steel details.
