The condenser is designed to reject the heat being removed from the home. The air is pulled across the fins and coils on the sides and blown out the top of unit by the condenser fan. With this blockage, it will restrict airflow in the system and lower the efficiency. Compressor which pumps the refrigerant will over heat, shutting down or tripping a breaker. Making sure your indoor filters are changed and AC system is maintained and cleaned regularly will lengthen the life of your comfort cooling investment….

I had contacted Amanda Murphy (Amanda The HVAC Girl
720-388-0144) about replacing the valve and pressure regulator on my ancient milli-volt gravity furnace AFTER I returned from a family reunion. She came to the house and took some pictures and some measurements and we made an appointment to do the replacement LATER. THEN, a few days before leaving town, my old furnace quit working all together. I called Amanda asking if we could move up my appointment to NOW!
Bless her heart, she visited her parts supplier and cheerfully showed up ready to go. The old furnace threw her a curve or two, but she persisted and when she left, the furnace was putting out beautiful heated air. I like to support local trades-people and, being a dad to two pretty handy women, liked to support a local woman-owned business. Amanda is very professional, competent, communicative and a joy to work with. Thus, my unequivocal recommendation for her HVAC talents. I have a couple of other projects in mind and will call her again to bail me out.

Let’s get your swamp cooler winterized for the winter season. Freeze damage occurs when not properly drained or covered. Waterlines can split, along with brass fittings. Pumps and other components can crack, or rust. A proper shut down and covering will extend the life of your evaporative cooler.
