These h**plime blocks were crafted by H**p Building Company to honor Governor Jared Polis and his cabinet’s impactful tenure.

The blocks are modeled after a similar clay block made for governor McNichols who was the Colorado governor 1957-1963. Each block is made from Colorado-grown h**p and lime. The blocks are finished on five sides with a h**p and lime plaster, sealed with a lime wash, and the logo applied using a stencil. The back side is left unfinished to showcase the raw material and the natural beauty of h**plime. All materials are proudly sourced from Colorado-based farmers and businesses.
We deeply appreciate Governor Jared Polis , Special Advisor Ean Seeb and Ag Commissioner Kate Greenberg for their commitment to supporting the h**p and natural building industries in Colorado.

We had the opportunity to head down to Tennessee to plaster this beautiful h**p home designed and built by River from .

Along with we plastered the interior and exterior. We mixed our own plasters for the base and brown coats and used .plaster stone plaster for the interior finish.

It was interesting to plaster in a different climate and see the way that it reacted to the conditions in Tennessee. Through heat, humidity, wind and pouring rain it was a great learning opportunity.

Havenearth is a beautiful farmstead focused on sustainability, education and community. From growing food and livestock to building healthy homes for those who live there. We highly recommend checking Havenearth Village out.

Excited to finally share finished photos of the La Veta project.

Aliyah , the homeowner and designer, has been living in her home for nearly two years now. Aliyah has shared with us that the performance of her home is greatly suitable for her high desert climate at 8000’ elevation. That the h**plime insulation paired with her thoughtful design has left her needing very little supplemental heat and no cooling.

H**p Building Company supplied and installed the h**plime insulation, then teamed up with Quinton Montgomery of Q Creations () to finish the interior and exterior with natural plasters. Quinton puts a lot of love and care into his finishes and it really shows with this project

We are thrilled with the outcome of this build and that Aliyah and her husband are happy. This home stands as a testimony of h**plime’s exceptional thermal performance and resilience in various climates.

2024 has been our busiest building season yet! HBC took on a project, helped out with a few projects, provided on site training, held a workshop, plastered multiple homes and supplied a few projects!
