This community partner spotlight highlights the relationship between Wauseon Schools and North Star BlueScope Steel, including our support of improvements to the baseball diamonds and clubhouse. These projects helped enhance spaces where student-athletes can develop their skills, build teamwork, and create lasting experiences both on and off the field.

We’re proud to celebrate this partnership as part of our 30th anniversary and grateful for opportunities to invest in projects that strengthen our schools and community.

Thirty years ago, a group of dedicated team members helped build something that would become much more than a steel mill. They helped build a culture of hard work, innovation and commitment that continues to shape North Star BlueScope Steel today.

As part of our 30th anniversary celebration, we're proud to recognize the team members who have been with us since the very beginning. In this special roundtable conversation, they share memories from the early days, lessons learned over three decades and their hopes for the future of North Star.

Their stories remind us that while equipment and technology have evolved, our greatest strength has always been our people.

This community partner spotlight highlights Habitat for Humanity of Fulton County, Ohio and the impact of the Playhouse Project, which brings volunteers together to build playhouses for local children and families. North Star BlueScope Steel team members have been proud to participate in these builds over the years, helping create spaces where imagination, creativity, and childhood memories can flourish.
