Wow, Final Friday community, you did it again!

At our last Final Friday event, we DOUBLED our recycling efforts, collecting an incredible 42 pounds. That brings our season total to 89 pounds recycled and diverted from the landfill ! 🌎👏

As we head into this Final Friday Concert, let’s see if we can beat our record and push our total even higher! Look for the recycling stations throughout the event and our volunteers.

Together, we’re providing that small actions add up to big impacts.

♻️🎶 We're Halfway Through the Final Friday Concert Series! 🎶♻️
Thanks to everyone who has stopped by our recycling stations and helped make a difference! Together, we've already recycled 47 pounds of material during this year's Final Friday Concert Series.
With three Final Fridays still to go, we have the opportunity to make an even bigger impact. As you enjoy the music, food, and fun, please take a moment to recycle your bottles, cans, and other recyclable items at our collection stations.
Every item recycled helps reduce waste, conserve resources, and keep our community looking its best. Let's see how much we can add to our 47-pound total before the season ends!

Thanks to everyone who stopped by—we collected and recycled 21 lbs. of aluminum and plastic – keeping waste out of landfills and giving it a new life.

🌍🌱 Rooted in our communities this Earth Day, committed to sustainability every day.

BRM proudly donated 100 trees in total, with team members from our Waterloo facility pitching in to help plant 20 at the newly renovated Veterans Park in Waterloo.

To extend the impact even further, several employees also received trees to plant at their own homes, supporting environmental stewardship beyond the workplace.

Alongside these efforts, BRM is supporting local organizations with tree donations in Delta and Mansfield, taking meaningful action where it matters most.

📌 Holiday Closure Notice

BlueScope Recycling and Materials will be closed on Friday, April 3, 2026, in observance of Good Friday. Our Mansfield location's retail operation will also be closed on Saturday, April 4th, 2026.

We wish our customers, suppliers, and communities a peaceful and reflective holiday and look forward to resuming normal operations on Monday, April 6th, 2026.

♻️ Future Recycling Heroes in the Making! ♻️

We loved welcoming first and second grade students from Discovery School to our Mansfield site yesterday!

The students learned how recycling works, what it means to be a recycling hero, and why teamwork matters in everything we do. One of the highlights was hearing our teammates say hello over the radio! There were lots of smiles, excitement, and curious questions all around!

Thank you to our Mansfield team for making this such a fun and engaging experience, and to Discovery School for spending the day learning with us. Inspiring the next generation starts with moments just like these! 💙🌎
