Taverna Opa Delray regrets to announce that we have permanently closed. Our restaurant lease was expiring this summer, and with the rising cost of leasing in the downtown Delray area, we were unable to negotiate an agreement with the landlord that made financial sense to our business. Due to unforeseen circumstances, including the building getting struck by lightning this week, we were forced to make the unexpected decision to close sooner than we anticipated. We want to thank the public for over nine years of their support, as well as extend our thanks and sincere gratitude to our staff.

If you've enjoyed Taverna Opa over the years, you can continue to enjoy our Greek "Celebration of Life" concept at our flagship location in Hollywood and our sister location in Orlando. Our family also owns and operates Taverna Kyma, a popular Greek restaurant on Federal Highway in Boca Raton. We invite you to come enjoy the same level of 100% authentic Greek cuisine and weekend entertainment there.
