Today, we had the pleasure of hosting the American Welding Society - Delmarva Section for a shop tour!

It was a great opportunity to share our story, showcase current projects, and walk through processes with both students and industry professionals. From CNC operations to welding - and even a live demonstration of our new Dragon A400 - there was plenty to see and talk about!

A huge thank you to the American Welding Society - Delmarva Section for stopping by. We truly enjoyed the visit and look forward to future collaboration with your group!

DELMARVA SECTION ANNOUNCEMENT

Calvary Fabrication Tour



Come join us in Delmar, MD! Calvary Fabrication will be hosting our Section's Meeting on June 5th at 2:00 PM.



Calvary is a Misc Metals Company that just completed their 2nd anniversary. They also just completed the 70-ton fabrication and er****on job for UMES Princess Anne new AG Building. They have multiple Amazon projects on going, along with projects for Auto Zone, Harbor Freight, Johns Hopkins and many others. Stairs and handrails are a portion of their business, and they just purchased an automated Tube & Pipe Dragon.



This is not a shiny nickel shop, this is a traditional hard working fast paced fab shop with great employees that in the short two years it has been in business has outgrown their first building. In my opinion, it can show the students what hard work overtime can achieve!

REQUIREMENTS:
• Structural Steel Er****on Experience
• Stair and Railings Installation Experience
• Able to Stick and MIG Weld (TIG is a plus 😄)
• Able to work with / is familiar with different finishes
• Detailed Oriented
• Driver's License (With a clean driving record)
• Able to obtain a DOT Card
• Some experience with blueprints / drawings / layout.
• And a Team-player!
