In partnership with Condorchem Envirosolutions, The CMM Group recently completed the design, manufacture, installation supervision and commissioning of a vacuum ev***ration system at an aerospace manufacturing facility in the Pacific Northwest.

This system features Condorchem’s signature mechanical v***r recompression (MVR) vacuum ev***rator. The vacuum ev***rator is reducing the volume of wastewater to be treated off-site by a factor of 25, greatly reducing disposal costs.

In addition to this, the distillate water produced by our vacuum ev***rator is treated further by a Continuous Electro-Deionization (CEDI) unit and a carbon filter to produce de-ionized water for reuse in the customer’s process, making this a zero liquid discharge system. This optional upgrade enabled this customer to satisfy corporate green energy initiatives.

Visit us at the IPPE show (International Production and Processing Expo, Jan 28-30) in Atlanta where we'll be discussing with our customers how we can help with their process wastewater application for near-zero liquid discharge. We'll talk about ways to generate valuable product from the waste stream while reducing chemicals in the treatment process. Matt Kittell can help determine how you can use the wastewater concentrate as a supplemental fuel and the condensate for reusable distillate.
